Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your name, email address, and the organization you belong to.
- Workspace content — the announcements and source material you upload, the messaging briefs and drafts the engine produces, voice samples used to match a person's tone, and ambassador rosters.
- Communications — anything you send us by email or in support requests.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage and cost data — which features are used and the cost of AI generations, so we can run, secure, and bill the service.

How we use your information
- To provide the service — generate drafts, run guardrails, and show you who participated.
- To operate, secure, and improve the product, and to provide support.
- To manage your account, plan, and billing.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to advertise to you.
AI processing
Generating drafts means sending the relevant content — your announcement, messaging brief, and voice samples — to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce text. Our providers process this content to return a result and do not use it to train their models. Drafts are suggestions: a person reviews and approves every post before it is published.
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies — the secure, http-only session cookies that keep you signed in and, for platform staff, a cookie that powers admin support sessions. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies, so no consent banner is required. Because these cookies are essential to signing in, disabling them will prevent the app from working. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers who help us run Blossom Engine, under contract and only as needed:
- Anthropic — AI model provider that generates drafts (does not train on your data).
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
- Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition (you will be notified).
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal or accounting obligations.
Security
Access to data is denied by default and granted per-organization; secrets are never exposed to the browser. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information with industry-standard measures and will notify you of any breach as required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, and we will respond within the time the law requires.
International users
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Children
Blossom Engine is a workplace tool and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will post the new version here and update the date above; material changes will be communicated to account holders.
